Teacher Appreciation Week

Updated: May 8

Teacher Appreciation Week is almost upon us! We want to celebrate the amazing work of our teachers and show them how much we appreciate all that they do for us. That's why we're planning the following themed days for May 6th-10th. The theme for the week is Teachers are Shining Stars! The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday:  Donuts & Coffee

  • Tuesday (National Teacher Appreciation Day): A Treat from “Tree of Knowledge”

  • Wednesday: Special Notes from Students

  • Thursday: Sweet Treats (Cupcakes)

  • Friday: Appreciation Lunch from Taziki’s

To make Teacher Appreciation Week even more special, we are asking families to join in by making monetary donations. These donations will allow us to purchase the items necessary for each day and end the week with an appreciation lunch. To submit your donation, please visit this link [URL] and make your payment online. If you prefer to make a cash donation, please send it with your child in an envelope labeled Baldwin PTSA. They will need to drop it off in the box labeled “Baldwin PTSA” in the office. If you prefer to make a check donation, please put “Baldwin Arts & Academics Magnet PTSA” in the pay to order area with subject “Appreciation Week.”

If you are unable to make a monetary donation, your time is just as precious. Please sign up to be a volunteer for a classroom so teachers can have a student-free lunch on Friday, May 10th from11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Sign up here to volunteer: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090C49AFAA23A4F94-49152417-teacher

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us recognize our teachers and make Teacher Appreciation Week a week to remember. We truly hope you can be a part of this special celebration and advance the mission of our school.
